Delightful Country Cottage in a lovely rural area

Excellent location and views. Cottage has everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay.

Great location very peaceful with nice views of the countryside a welcoming host who just let us get on with our break. The facilities where modern and clean easy parking off road . The bed is comfy with clean soft bedding and two comfy sofa chairs to sit on and watch some TV as it is a large spacious open plan room upstairs with the kitchen and bathroom below.. There is also air conditioning as it does get warm upstairs when it's sunny Great value for money overall.

Nothing much not to like really ,if you like a little sit off in the kitchen as this is a cooler area we had to bring dinning chairs down stairs could benefit having a couple of kitchen stools in there

Beautiful quiet village location

The chalet was lovely, had everything we needed and was in a great location

As many have mentioned it can get quite hot, but I see this as a small price to pay for a beautiful picture window facing west. A fan and air conditioner were provided which helped.

Very well equipped cottage with lovely views of the countryside. The enclosed garden was ideal for our pet we were very close to Ludlow and several national trust and English heritage sites..

Lovely location with beautiful views from the upstairs lounge/bedroom. Very spacious and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfy and I slept very well indeed! Kitchen and bathroom are modern and very well equipped. Nice garden area, perfect for sitting out for meals or relaxation. The hosts were very helpful when I needed to interact with them. The old church and castle ruins nearby are well worth a visit, and there are great walks in Mortimer forest a short distance up the road. The Ludlow park and ride bus service is also fairly close, for stress-free trips into town.

The layout is such that food/drinks need to be taken up carpeted stairs to the living area from the kitchen if it's too cold/wet to eat outside. This was made clear before booking and isn't a problem if you're steady on your feet. I'd love to visit again but may take a small folding table and stool to use in the kitchen - not a criticism of the hosts as there isn't really room for a table as a permanent fixture.

Such a quiet, peaceful location. Very comfortable, very modern kitchen and bathroom with all amenities / utensils available. The view from the living room is outstanding, faultless stay and we would love to return some day! Peter even left us a bottle of his own orchards’ Apple juice, delightful.

Very comfortable bed and the views across the valley. Located within a beautiful area with quick access to Ludlow.

The BBQ and garden furniture had just been left by previous visitors in a messy state. We also noticed the property had a lot of cobwebs, dog hair and needed better cleaning of the floors.

Great location 10 minutes' drive along country roads from historic Ludlow, the cottage was well-equipped and comfortable, and constantly serenaded by birdsong: a beautiful space to relax. Hosts Peter and Hilary were kind and generous and respected our privacy, but were always available to give advice and great suggestions on the many surrounding attractions. We stayed for 16 days and were sad to leave this peaceful oasis to return to London en route back to Australia.
