Sea Green Guest House

Excellent stay with a kind, wonderful family. Mr. Bilal went above and beyond to help me through some logistical problems during my stay, and made sure my experience in Kashmir was as easy as possible. I’ll miss the breakfasts and the tea breaks with delicious Kashmiri kehwa. Property is clean and beautiful. Probably the best neighborhood in Srinagar.

All was perfect

Mr. Bilal and his family offer a warm, friendly and authentic option for travellers in the RajBagh district. While the area has various shops, grocery stores and restaurants, the guesthouse is tucked away from the main road in a quiet residential area. We were very happy to walk around the city at our leisure to the old city (one hour) or Dal Lake (thirty minutes) and return to this sanctuary later on. The accommodation is new and very well maintained. You can see that this family takes great pride in their home and they treated us like family. The room itself was impeccably clean, comfortable, hot water was always available and extra blankets and hot water bottles were on hand to keep us warm. The dinner meals are home cooked, tasty and exceptional value, so we ate almost all of our meals exclusively at Sea Green. We had a good sampling of various veg and non-veg meals. Tea was also available throughout the day for a modest fee. Sea Green really hits the mark and was such a great experience that we extended our stay to over a week. Many thanks to Mr Bilal and his family for such a lovely stay!

Everything was good from friendly and warm host to cozy and comfy rooms with good wi-fi.

Stay experience was very pleasant. We were considered as family. As this is a homestay, we don't have to worry about anything. The place is very neat and clean. Very budget-friendly. Kashmiri kawa, tea, biscuits, cakes, hot water bags were provided as complimentary. They offered us two extra blankets to keep us warm. The taxi cab provided was very good. Arif bhaiya & Sohail bhaiya were very pleasant tour guides and took care of everything. In short, it felt like a "home sweet home for us in Kashmir❣️". If we are visiting Kashmir next time, this will surely be our place of stay.
