Its great view

This was the perfect start to our holiday. We were picked up at the airport by Oshi and warmly welcomed by Dashai. The room had everything we needed with good shower, very comfortable bed and a view to die for! It was very quiet and we went to sleep to the sound of the sea. The food was all home cooked and delicious. Dashai even gave us a cookery lesson which was great fun and we learnt some good tips for cooking Sri Lankan food. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. They organised a great day out visiting a tea factory (fascinating) a lagoon, turtle sanctuary and jungle beach. They even drove us to our next destination in Mirissa. If you want to experience real Sri Lankan hospitality then stay with this lovely family. Quiet, fabulous view, comfortable room and the very best hosts

Love the personal experience that I had and the attentiveness to the needs of our stay. We were given some great recommendations for places to visit in Galle and also around Sri Lanka. The rooms were also really nice with the great addition of mosquito nets, multiple powerpoints and hot showers. Undoubtedly one of the best things about my stay was the view and also having a one on one lesson on how to play the game 'carom' (a mich loved game in Sri Lanka). After learning it, my friends and I had a game, which was a great way to spend the night. Another great thing was the vicinity of an ATM and a supermarket nearby. Finally, the breakfast was fantastic and very filling. My personal favourite was the egg hoppers and the platter of fruit. I'll be recommending this place to my friends in future, especially how close it is to the Galle Fort and the cricket ground.

Dashi was an amazing host. She looked after us like family. I had the King Room with sea view and air con. It was very comfortable. We did a cooking class with Dashi, cooking some amazing Sri Lankan food for dinner for us and our friends. Location is walking distance to the fort which is a must to visit and short drive to some Lovley beaches. I would definitely recommend staying here in Galle and would do so again just to play another game of carom with Dashi and her family and eat more of her lovely food.
