Villa Sea View

The host truly made this experience everything! She greeted me with a huge smile and instantly felt like family. My room was quiet and clean; exactly what I needed. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes walk to Galle fort, a basic budget hotel and is a bit old... which is made clear in the hotel description. There is a huge grocery shop and ATM just across the road which is super convenient and they have a restaurant in the hotel as well. It says beachfront and while it is in front of the beach, that part of the beach isn't swimmable... it's more of walking area and is so beautiful! The host, Darshi (spelling?) and I enjoyed deep conversations over sunset... talking about happiness, life and balance. They helped me to book train tickets, navigate Galle fort and gave advice on how to get to the airport. Honestly spending time with Darshi was the highlight- true Sri Lankan hospitality!

Talon emäntä oli hyvin ystävällinen ja mukava. Hän auttoi kaikessa ja teki olomme todella tervetulleeksi. Kokemus oli vielä parempi kuin voimme kuvitella.

The hosts are absolutely wonderful. She upgraded our room and made sure we were comfortable and happy.

Everything was perfect

Excellent location, close to the train and bus stations, within walking distance to the city center and it's markets and near all touristic attractions in Galle. The property faces the sea and offers beautiful sunsets daily, the rooms are big and comfortable, fans and AC available, big clean toilet.

Loved everything. Would stay again.
