Casa Mariposa San Marcos Atitlán Lakefront Retreat

We liked everything about this property. The room and bed were very comfortable with everything we needed. The location is phenomenal for ease of getting to town but most of all the view was stunning. Exactly like the picture! Also the mornings here are incredible with many birds at the lake at dusk and dawn!

位置很棒，在san marco下船後可以做嘟嘟車前往(大概5-6分鐘的車程)，可以連絡房東給的嘟嘟車司機，因為他們的價格是比較公道的(2025.10入住-單程的費用是跟我收15q-我是一個人加上一個背包)，如果在路上隨便找的司機可能會收取很高的價錢!!房間的部分很美!但是晚上的時候會有野狗，叫聲非常大聲!但是真的很棒~風景很漂亮!!早餐需要自己準備~牙刷、牙膏還有沐浴用品可以自備!(民宿有吹風機)

Shades on some of the windows were not working properly, but in the end we were able to solve the problem.

De locatie is echt top! Je hebt een ruime tuin en zit praktisch aan het meer. Het is er rustig. Aanlegsteiger zit schuin voor de accommodatie dus je kan zo met de Lanca mee. Echt geweldig! Je kunt er water uit de kraan drinken en er is voldoende waterdruk. Manager is erg vriendelijk.

De hygiene viel ons erg tegen. Lijkt nauwelijks schoongemaakt te zijn. Op veel plekken vind je insecten in de woning. Spinnenwebben etc. Bed is ruim, maar matras erg hard.

Vista incrível. Cozinha bem equipada. Casa bonita.

Cama muito mole. Cobertor com um cheiro incômodo que nos causou alergia. A limpeza da casa deixou a desejar: muito pó em algumas áreas e teias de aranha em diversos pontos. Mesmo sabendo que a casa se situa em meio à natureza e que encontraríamos insetos etc., entendemos que as teias de dentro da casa poderiam ter sido removidas no momento da limpeza (chegamos imediatamente após a limpeza e as teias já estavam na casa). Faltou água quente em mais de uma ocasião. Se pretende ir em mais de duas pessoas, considere que o quarto extra não comporta confortavelmente mais uma pessoa.

Beautiful location, nice and tranquil. Was able to write in peace. Young co-host were very friendly. We will miss our time here.

Sadly the bathroom and kitchen are now both very tired and do not warrant a 4star booking.com rating. More likely a 3 star. Sadly 2 cracks in plastic bath and mouldy grouting ruined the relaxing bath with the amazing view. Bath needs full replacement.
