Painters at the Angel

This is our third pleasant stay at Painters. The venue is very convenient for the town centre and the station. Staff are helpful and professional at all times. The accommodation is excellent value for money. We intend to stay again.

Main window was difficult to open.

Lovely cosy little room. Nice and warm. Clear and easy entry with lock box. Great location.

Slight downside was the noisy macerating toilet and high step into the shower.

It’s was local and right next to the town

The noise from a private party kept us away all of Saturday night. Did not stop playing very Loud music till 11 clock at night . Then the noise kept us up.till half 12 it’s sounded like they were cleaning and putting back furniture. Then I got to do a really long drive back to the north the next day.

The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in ,The room was spotless ,very quaint decorated style

The stairs were a bit narrow ,and opening hours are a bit strange for the cafe below ,closed Sunday and Monday . Fortunately we didn't need breakfast .

Room and bedding was pristine Shower was spotless and good pressure and hot Room was warm and comfortable and quiet Would definitely recommend Host was friendly and helpful

Very friendly staff looked after me really really well. I would definitely stay there again.

Quality linen and towels. comfortable bed and quality duvet. room warm.

lack of simple toiletries . Staircase difficult for elderly. Lack of on site parking.
