The Little Gem

Ashley could not have done more to make us feel welcome. So many little, unnecessary, but oh-so-lovely touches to the room. Chocolate on the pillow, cookies in the jar, beautifully scented humidifier. All in all, a wonderful place to stay overnight. Thank you Ashley, you exceeded our expectations.

Enough space

No microwave. No cutlery. No plates. No stove. No tray for washing. For a selfcatering place, the necesary items for self catering were not available

We had a comfortable night at Little Gem. It's a short drive into the main road of Clanwilliam and also the restaurant we went to for dinner. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, the bed was very comfortable, and the facilities were good.

We would have liked another chair to sit on, in the room.

Everything was perfect for what we wanted. The room was well appointed, comfortable and clean. Attention to detail was outstanding. Ash was in regular contact offering her assistance, which was great.

The shower needs a door or curtain, as water splashed out onto the floor which made the tiles very slippery.
