The Little Gem

As good as the facilities and room were the best thing about our stay was Ashley, the owner. She was born to be in the hospitality business. She went way out of her way to make our stay in Clanwilliam not a good stay but a great stay.

We are Americans and in our mid 70's in age -- we could have used a little more light at night.

Lovely spacious room with extra seating area and balcony with beautiful views over the Cederberg mountains. All amenities and lots of attention to detail. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by Ashley. Lots of information about dinner, things to do and recommendations for breakfast on the way!

Location was great

A comfortable room with a good shower. The outdoor balcony with a view and the indoor braai room was a bonus. Good safe covered parking for my motorbike.

This was such a wonderful stay for me. Everything was perfectly clean (especially the bathroom, which is the most important part for me) and I was greeted by Ashley with so much care and friendliness. She had 5 liter water ready in the fridge as one can not drink their water at all and checked in even after I left to make sure I got safely home. Definitely saved her numer for next time!!
