"A wonderful holiday"

We loved the location.. The views were stunning. We could walk in the forest to get to view point at Symonds Yat Rock. Local convenience store is walkable. Sally, Beth and Anthony made our stay perfect. They were happy to chat to us. Their pets also made us welcome!

We loved everything.

Very pleasant and friendly hosts. Lots of thoughtful extras including maps, bird guides and binoculars. And milk in the fridge. EV charger was a huge bonus for us. The views of the hills are stunning.

"A lovely few days away in the Wye valley we were able to your around and went into Wales as we were travelling on a moto"

The lodges are set in a surrounding garden which belongs to the owners house with your own private patio that looks out over stunning countryside

"Relaxing stay at the Rock!"

The location is excellent. We particularly liked the private outside sitting areas, great place to have your breakfast and sip tean in the morning. Definitely will come back again.

How close to the forest for walks and views

Nothing really it was quiet and relaxing and even though they had dogs they were lovely and friendly too

We loved the views and the design of the lodge worked very well giving you the best of the views around . The lodge was very clean and the hosts were very helpful and friendly . A bonus to have new laid eggs to buy .

Excellent location right next to the forest, very quiet and peaceful. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. Beautiful scenery from the garden area. The hosts are lovely and welcoming, it felt like a home from home.
