Good experience and facility

The dinner experience was very disappointing

The experience was unique and enjoyable. We appreciated the beautiful setting and arrangements, which improved our overall experience. The main lodge area is stunning, with an incredible Rovos Rail carriage serving as a restaurant and a unique and interesting lounge and bar area. The tents are well-decorated and very comfortable. Patrons must remember the theme of a bush camp set over 100 years ago, so there is no electricity in the tents, and everything is via candles and solar - but it makes for a fantastic setting. The hosts are incredible, and we enjoyed our 5-course meal at the Injabulo Restaurant, where our hosts explained each dish in detail.

We would like to have access to our Vehicle, but it is not a problem to get a lift when needed.

What an memorable experience and loved everything from waking up with the sounds of the bush in your ears, decor, comforts and the fine dinning food was excellent 🐾

A plug, for a hairdryer, would be WONDERFUL in the tent

I love the idea of the Out in Africa theme. The owners Ludger and Monique were very accommodating and excellent hosts. The food was fantastic!

I feel that although it is an "Out in Africa" experience to be driven from the car park to the main venue is great, I would have preferred to be able to park my car closer to where I was staying and to have the freedom to come and go as I wished without having to arrange a lift to and from the car park by the owner. The tents are well kitted out but with breakfast being served at 9 it would be nice to have coffee and tea facility in the tents for that first cuppa when you wake up. If a flask of hot water and some fresh milk were delivered to the tent at around 7 with some cups and spoons that would be fantastic. I feel that the fact that there is no electricity in the tents should be more clearly stated so that visitors can be more prepared. The rooms are also not serviced.
