Felt very safe as a solo traveller. Easy, free residents parking provided. Central location but still quiet. Felt like a home from home which I prefer to a hotel room. Personally found the bed really comfy!
It's an old building so floors are uneven in parts but this didn't bother me at all. Some noise from the apartment above but this was expected and minimal.

Stunning location (despite the castle being closed), surprise welcome hamper, cosy well appointed appointed apartment. We enjoyed a few days exploring the beautiful coastline and always looked forward to a relaxing evening back at the flat.
We could hear snoring from the neighbouring apartment.

So close to everything, excellent on street parking. Modern amenities and attractively renovated flat.
Nothing apart from poky steps and uneven floor but this is part of staying in a very old property.

This apartment is ideally situated in the centre of Alnwick with the castle entrance just across the road. Parking was easy just around the corner. The apartment is comfortably furnished and a great welcome pack was provided on our arrival.
Whilst comfortable the mattress was a little soft and could do with replacing as you constantly roll to the middle.
