Lionsgate View - luxury apartment opposite Alnwick Castle

Loved the location and the welcome pack. It was wonderfully comfortable and very quiet even tho the castle was showing Mama Mia on our first night you couldn’t really hear it! The bed was so comfy and the fabrics and towels were deluxe.

Only a very minor thing - there’s no shelf in the fridge door for milk. We bought a 2 pt bottle and it leaked because we had to lie it down rather than be able to stand it up.

Excellent location, very clean with a lovely welcome basket. Clear instructions for arrival and lots of information on local attractions and restaurants

We got woken by an alarm from another flat at 6am. Unfortunate and could not be helped. The bed is too soft for our taste

Location was perfect castle is 5m away over road. Parking permit and residents parking disk supplied

Incredible location, spotlessly clean and well equipped apartment

Bed was incredibly soft and the mattress sagged (most likely needs replacing)

Perfect location for the castle, nicely decorated with local prints a welcome basket of groceries was most acceptable, large comfy bed and well equipped kitchen, bathroom With shower and bath which I was able to use having hip problems. All in all a good break in a delightful location and the weather was kind to us also

Stairs unfortunately but we managed Also only being able to open windows two inches left the room very stuffy.

Lovely flat, clean and tidy, spacious, bed was comfortable, lovely owners who were very help, nice welcome goodies on arrival and everything you need should you wish to cook a meal. Great local chippy.

Nothing really :-) not to like other than a couple of night, unless you are a walker is enough as there isn’t much to do in Alnwick having said this if you have a car it is fairly central to access Northumberland generally.
