Everything the stuff especially no respect talking to me like I was giving accommodation for free and shouting on my friends for breakfast

The provided breakfast was pretty good, and I liked that there were vegetarian options. There was enough storage space for all my luggage, the bed came with two quilt-like blankets, and I liked the toothpaste provided.

I didn’t like that there weren’t keys to the room or places to lock up our luggage for the 8-people room. Since the door to the room wasn’t ever locked, I felt nervous about leaving my items out in the ‘open’. The bunk bed post often shook and creaked easily with any movement, but that wasn’t a big deal. I had two main issues with my stay. Firstly, I had to wait 2 hours to get confirmation on my room. I understand that I arrived 2 hours before I could check in, but it seemed that other people’s bookings were more important than mine. I watched several other large groups of people be accommodated before me, even I was traveling solo. I could understand that the hostel was very busy that day and I had booked a single bed in a big room, but still. I understand that as I wanted to leave my luggage there, it was only to cost 50k VND (if I remember correctly) to store my things until my room was ready. Therefore, I would’ve had to wait anyway. Secondly, the bathroom situation was troublesome. The shower situation is that the shower was placed openly, allowing the turned on water to splash everywhere. Since shoes aren’t allowed into the room, going to the toilet with water all over the floor wasn’t ideal. While I’m not sure if it would’ve been okay to walk around the room with flip flops/slides, it wasn’t the best setup.

The food the staff the vibes. Everything 10/10. The staff were soooo helpful in booking activities and transportation. They’re the best and so welcoming too

I was a wee cold the first night the room didn’t come with a blanket but once I asked for one they provided one instantly. They’re great

Normal hostel. The room is a bit tight with all the bunk beds, but if you store your luggage under the bed it's ok. The food was tasty at normal price.

The morning clerk was a prick. "David" if that is his real name. Went for breakfast at 7:45 and asked him how it worked and he just yelled at and pointed to a table where there was nothing. A couple of empty plates, coffee and tea. I had to figure it out by myself, half asleep what I could have. Then, when my pancakes arrived, I asked for some bananas, that had run over. 6 tiny bananas for the 8 people that were having breakfast, It seems obvious to me that was not enough. Still he yelled, again to me, to ask the couple that took 3 refusing to get more. Obviously they joined my cause and straight away complained. The lady in the kitchen, who was the only person really working listened and brought some more. Everybody has bad days, but "David" go meditate a little bit if you can't handle such a simple task.

The location was great! Right on the main road and all the restaurants but still quiet.the staff is lovely and helps with everything you need!

Ha long Fancy hostel is a good and safe place to stay. Hostel is located very central, opposite to SunWorld Disneyland, behind skyscraper building. ATM, beach, supermarkets and restaurants are in a walking distance around hostel. Free wi-fi internet worked very well everywhere in the hostel. I had my breakfasts and dinners in the hostel. Clean bed with privacy curtain, socket and shelf has been provided. Please keep in mind that bed makes noise with any move or when you climb up on the bed. There were lockers in the dorm room. Elevator/Lift for travelers with suitcase was very helpful. All travelers were so sociable. We sat around the fire in the evening and chatted. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered Ha long bay boat tour services. Also they helped me with bus ticket to other city which made my life easier. I can highly recommend Ha long Fancy hostel as a safe, friendly and comfortably located place to stay in Ha long city. Pizza and gift from hostel team was unexpected and so sweet of them. Thank you so much.

Really good located. Staff really friendly and good English. All the activities you can book at the hostel. Breakfast is really good. Definitely will stay again
