This is the second time we've stayed at Long sands Beach, which is just the perfect apartment for a few days in Tynemouth. It's a beautiful apartment just a stones throw from the beach and a 10 minute walk into the town centre. High recommend.

Clean and spacious apartment beautifully presented. Everything was well thought out. The layout of the apartment was suitable for a family or adults friends travelling together. The location was ideal. A short walk to various bars and restaurants on Tynemouth Front Street, or alternately on the beaches. The communication, from the booking to our check out, was informative, friendly and professional. We know the area as we are originally from North Sheilds, but for someone new to the area the information provided would have made all of the difference and optimised their visit.

There was nothing I did not like.

Get rid of the glass table in the living room, it is dangerous. Even the slightest pressure on an edge causes it to slide off.

Excellent location, fabulous views , very clean apartment

Although one of the beds was very comfortable it could do with being upgraded to a kingsize , was quite noisy too as it was metal frame

The location was amazing. It was very spacious. A gift of chocolates on arrival was a nice touch and very good communication with the host regarding work on the property etc.

We only have a couple of quibbles, the sofa in the lounge is more style than substance and not the most comfortable. The TV didn’t work overly well, there were no terrestrial channels and a lot of buffering. Even though we didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartment we would’ve liked the tv to work first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

Location excellent to avail your self of the beach and all Tynemouth has to offer!!!!!!

Appartment needs a jolly good clean !!!!!!!! Kitchen cupboards,cutlery tray,bins etc,etc. Cobwebs on windows. Second bedroom bed needs replacing and some nice bedlinen. Actually squeaks when you move!!!!!!! Court yard very unattractive and uninviting ,didn't use it at all. Kitchen and bathroom both very dated and tired. A few nice toiletries would have been appreciated.
