Longsands Beach Apartment 1 Tynemouth Free Onsite Parking

Booked this as in the pictures it showed a courtyard garden outside the back bedroom through doors, however on arriving was very disappointed to see it was now a car port.It was important to us as we had our dog who has fear aggression and it would have been an ideal area for him to chill.House otherwise was clean and had everything else we needed.Host could maybe make sure bulbs are all working though as sitting room was pretty dark at night.Found the sofa,although very large was uncomfortable,however I'm being picky there as the flat was lovely and clean.

Beautiful apartment

Slight smell of drains and external area poor - overflowing drain and cigarette ends. Kitchen quite poor, and lacked some basic equipment eg oven trays, chopping board . Oven / grill were dirty.

Excellent location, plenty of space, lovely towels, lovely and warm and plenty of hot water.

Bed in front bed room like a rock. Too hard for me. No chopping board. All knives totally blunt ( need sharpening)

Location was excellent, straight across the road from the beach where we could take our dog. Not far to walk to Tynemouth centre. Free parking was a bonus.

Shutters on bedroom window could do with a fastening on them to keep them together better. The drawers in the wardrobe in the first bedroom need pulling out and cleaning behind them. I dropped a sock and when I pulled it out it was very dusty and someone else had left a pair of socks behind it. The small dressing table in there also wasn't very stable. Could do with softer pillows and the sheets and pillowcases ironing.
