GBA beautiful house with great views. We were very lucky with the weather so we able to make the most of the outside space.
The property wasn't as quiet as I was expecting, due to its proximity to a busy main road. Though traffic did quieten down during the night. The duvets on the beds felt like they were winter-weight, which was a bit to heavy for the warm June weather.
GBGBThe house was fabulous - roomy, lovely decor, great hot tub, comfortable. We appreciated the later than average check-out and pretty early check-in.
We were surprised at the lack of curtains or blinds in the lounge, although the house isn't overlooked, it just lacked a cosy feeling in the evenings. Not a big issue!

It was lovely to have a super king size bed however unfortunately we found the master bedroom mattress uncomfortable to sleep on - the slightest movement can be felt reverberating throughout! Clear glass windows in the toilet & bathroom were a bit disconcerting especially downstairs! The following are minor points but are hopefully helpful: we couldn’t find any scissors the fridge could do with a clean & the freezer a defrost there was only 1 dishwasher tablet left in the bag provided but maybe this was left by a previous guest? salt provided but no pepper (again could have been left by a previous guest) no hand towel in downstairs toilet or a hook to hang a towel on

Road noise was not great and the internet was poor.
GBAs the days went on we found the location more and more user friendly, peaceful at night with fantastic night time stars. the TV is huge all we needed because it was so sunny was a curtain on the tv window as the weather was so bright.
The local pub The White Horse was 3 minutes down the road and the food was excellent , the staff were friendly. even better than that and 4 minutes down the road was the local farmers shop , Greendale's the breakfast's were great and they served evening meals well worth a visit, we went in every day, and took home as much food as we could carry. We had an electric vehicle and the Gridserve site with a WH Smiths and cafe's with an M and S were 9 minutes down the road
GBThe house is great in a good location and has the potential to be amazing!
Unfortunately, it was not up to standard. The house was fine with the exception of dirty dishes in the drawers but the gardens and orchard were overgrown to the point we couldn’t enjoy them. The hot tub was disgustingly dirty and smelled very musty so we were unable to use it. The bbq had not been cleaned and was covered in meat from the last user. The plant pots covered in cigarette butts. The most disappointing bit is that we contacted the owner during our stay and all he could say was he was sorry and made no effort to put it right or compensate in any way.

It was not clean everyone and in need of repair which let it down. Hot tub was dirty, en suite had two sinks, one only had a dribble of hot water and the other only cold and the tap moved. Cob webs every where and the fridge was dirty
GBSuper property. Everything you need for a vacation. Loved the outdoor space and the hot tub. Couldn’t fault anything.
