Blackberry Annex. Detached cottage. Rural location

Really good value, well equipped and comfortable annexe. Very clean, lovely and quiet and the children loved seeing the animals over the fence. Three good sized bedrooms and all very clean. The kids also loved how christmassy the hosts had made it! There's a lovely garden with a trampoline too.

Not so much things we didn't like, but be aware; - one of the mattresses upstairs was a little uncomfortable, it needs a topper or replacing - the shower is electric and therefore a bit weak - there could be more seating downstairs - you do need to use your initiative with getting the heating to your preferred level and using appliances, but it wasn't difficult (some people expect everything spelling out)

Good location and quiet

We were a little disappointed with the lack of things like basic toiletries in the house, and it would have been nice to have had some milk and coffee or some other very basic items when we arrived. Lack of washing machine was a shame, and a charge to use a washing machine a bit disappointing. Shower could do with an upgrade, as well as the kitchen taps! The parking situation could use some attention too.

Lovely annexe, which had everything we needed for a short stay while attending a wedding. Everything was clean and well presented. We stayed for 2 nights and had a fantastic sleep both nights, so peaceful and cosy.

I dont think there is anything lacking or that needs improving

Lovely peaceful place to stay. Friendly people. I will be back again if working in the area.
