2-Bed Upper Flat Near Leven Station & Beach

Mieszkanie dla 4 osób z kuchnią a stół mały i tylko dwa krzesła. Ciężko było 4 osobom zjeść razem posiłek. Niektóre elementy wyposażenia jak szafka łazienkowa - mocno zniszczone. W mieszkaniu czuć nieprzyjemny zapach.

The apartment was a pleasant surprise. Very clean, fresh and welcoming. There were a couple of issues but they were acknowledged and addressed by the hosts immediately . The apartment was spacious and well set out. It is in a quiet area with easy parking on the street and walking distance to nearby shops if needed with a sainsbury a couple of minutes drive away.

To get to the door you had to walk down a ginnell between two houses. The one next door was having building work done so there was scaffolding up and broken glass on the narrow walkway. I do understand the outside environment is beyond the control of the hosts and when you got round the corner to the steps up the property it improved

Location between Edinburgh and St Andrews Heating working very well.

Dirtiness everywhere. Greasy sticky cabinets in the kitchen, yellow tiles in the bathroom, dirty linen and duvets. Spiders coming from a broken baseboard. There was an empty envelope of toilet paper in the bathroom, lots of stuff in the wardrobes... Curtains are not thick enough to prevent early daylight. Coffee machine is Tassimo but no pods offered. While we understand this is not mandatory, it's the first time that we don't find at least a couple of pods on arrival. We understand the price is cheap compared to other places in the country, but even though cleanliness should be improved to reach, at least, the minimum standars.

The property was spacious and comfortable. Well laid out and nicely decorated. WIFI was strong. Quiet in the evening.

There were a few pieces of litter in the apartment on arrival, and no hot water. Area was a bit run down, glass in the alleyway that you have to walk to get to the apartment, not ideal with two dogs but not the hosts fault.
