Was just a stay over on route elsewhere. Didn’t arrive until late and left early in morning so hard to judge everything. The kitchen was well equipped. Hosts very kindly gave this accommodation as one originally booked had a maintenance issue, so they provided alternative accommodation which was appreciated. Very helpful.

Tv wouldn’t work as internet signal wasn’t good. Wanted to relax and watch a bit of tv when we arrived to unwind after a very long drive, but it wouldn’t play properly. After 20 mins of trying, we gave up and went straight to sleep. It was late by then anyway so didn’t make a huge difference to us.

The flat was nice inside comfy beds and sofas linens all provided but no oven glove,dish cloth and no brush or Hoover to clean the floors but a lovely stay thank you. Washing machine, tumble and dishwasher all provided handy with a family.

Felt safe, it was comfy and had everything we needed. Cute view from the main bedroom window of exactly what I would expect from a Scottish street! The host was great when I contacted with a query.

Initially, the outside alley and back entrance turned me off. Lots of rubbish and junk. But didn’t affect my stay!

A first floor flat in a terraced row on a residential street on the Leven side of Methil. Plenty of on street parking. Less than 10 minutes walk from Leven train station, bus station and Sainsburys. Handy for visiting family in the local area (which I was doing) but to be honest otherwise it's not a location I'd choose for my holidays. Keys are in a safebox to which the owner provided a code which meant that it didn't matter what time we arrived. The outside stairs to the front door are from a rather scruffy garden and the front door badly needs repainting so first impressions weren't great - but the inside was better. Some rooms were newly painted and the flat was clean (except the fridge and oven). Carpets a bit worn in places but generally it was comfortable and warm (once we'd figured out the central heating (better written instructions would be helpful). No bedside light in the upstairs bedroom so I took one from the living room (the other one, and the spare one in the downstairs bedroom weren't working despite changing the bulbs). Decent shower and plenty of clean towels. Beds fairly comfortable. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and TV (with multiple channels) all worked fine.
