lack of bannisters with a steep stairs no hairdryer shower taps complicated and needed instructions initial access via a laneway totally unsuitable for an evening arrival

the kitchen could have been supplied with a couple more tools should you wish to cook some items (ie. metal tray to place pies etc. on and a set of place mats for the glass topped table would improve the luxury aspect.

Great personal contact by owner. Video explanations on layout, parking and access to key was extremely helpful. Washing Machine was a bonus after several days of travel. Exactly as described and within walking distance to the grocery store and town centre. Many Thanks to Ben.

Leaking sink in bathroom. No upstairs toilet, but was fine for a 1 night stay. Perhaps another video to explain how to operate stove and oven for non-UK Lodgers (we were fine, but might frustrate some).

Uncomfortable sofas & beds

Central location. Comfy bed. Lots of usb charger points. Clean. Good communication from owner, who was very friendly. Use of YouTube videos showing check in process really clearly.

The street it’s located on; really run down, the house is opposite a derelict building, loud neighbours arguing into night and knocking on doors loudly at all hours, seagulls nesting right outside house and squealing all night long, no immediate parking (leaving car down at the end of the road in a separate car park, where you can’t see it), bath had mould all around it and was slow to drain, kettle spout was heavily stained blue, which when wiped came off on kitchen roll - this looked like a cleaning product that was very stubborn to remove, so we had no use of a kettle! No wine glasses. No salt and vinegar. Enough washing up liquid for one use. No oven tray to cook with. No cafeteria coffee press at all!
