The house was modern, clean and comfortable. Five minute walk to the castle.

The house is a decent size and the nightly rate is cheap. It is also nice and warm and pretty clean. The check in/out was nice and easy. Tea bags were also provided and there are USB charging outlets in the living room and bedroom.

The road it's on doesn't feel super safe and had a lot of litter, the parking is on street and you're supposed to have a disc but one wasn't provided, instead I was told by Ben 'if you get a ticket, I'll pay it for you'. We had family nearby drop in for food, and they had to park in Sainsburys because of the lack of spaces. There was course sea salt but no salt mill, there were only four forks, the scourer in the kitchen was old and the temperature of the hot water wasn't adequate for a hot bath. The fridge could do with a deep clean and same for the shower screen. The toilet doesn't flush especially well, the back alley is kinda creepy (it's where you enter the back garden) and the bed in the main bedroom was annoyingly low. The pillows in the main bedroom are also old and thin and the towels provided are old too. And finally, while there were tea bags, there was no milk. A pint of milk is super cheap, and having this available so people can have a brew when they get in makes such a difference. I know Sainsburys isn't far away, but when you've driven a long way to get there, you just want a cup of tea.

The host is extremely nice and the property very well presented. Very detailed information for arrival, parking and access. Spacious, and comfortable. Big, comfortable couches .Well equipped kitchen Good night sleep . Quiet area despite being close to a busy road Pretty outdoor space

Couldn’t stay longer!

The location is very convenient and the inside is very beautiful and homey! Was definitely worth the price. It's an excellent choice if you're passing through Carlisle and need a place to stay. Would book again!
