Historic, traditional & Spacious Wiltshire Cottage

-lovely location, very close to stonehenge -spacious accomodation -tastefully decorated -good facilities -open fire a real bonus -helpful property manager , easy to contact -comfortable beds -generally clean

-a number of faults were known before our arrival but not communicated, disappointing eg problems continue with windows not opening/problematic boiler/hot warer/ bath not working. I think when faults are known guests should be offered either choice to cancel booking without penalty or offered discount. Some faults appear to be a recurring problem from reviews -number of windows including bedrooms didn't open which meant it felt warm overnight -situated on a busy road, suggest ear plugs or reflect in listing. Traffic noise and pedestrians -carpet in lounge needs a good clean -carpets upstairs need some maintenance, significant trip hazard -garden is lovely but could do with cutting back and tidy tho allow guests to enjoy some sunshine -bed linen could do with replacing, agree with previous reviews that it shows wear (see through)

A very special little cottage. Excellent set up - clean, tidy, spacious and full of character. Spa was a real bonus.

Had trouble with the hot water but otherwise wonderful.

I liked the beds very much. A very nice old cottage.

The house was what was expected from an old house. It was a nice stay for a day.

The instruction are unnecessary thretening. The parking is just few meters from the cottage, but the description looks like a tour to the cottage. It is not necessary! :-)

The location was perfect for us visiting for a wedding at Syrencot House. The character of the property and it was well equipped.

The stairs were steep, narrow and had a turn on them. The garden needed cutting back and a good tidy up.

It was conveniently located to Salisbury and Stonehenge. It was also quiet and cozy.

Although it’s out of anyone’s control, the parking on the street isn’t ideal.

The Cottage was absolutely beautiful, we felt at home and loved all the little touches, toy box full of toys, essentials for cooking, bathroom fully stocked, this made travelling with children very easy.

As we only stayed for one night it would of been nice if the hot tub was filled ready so we could of used it, but understand they need to be cleaned between visits and we were only there for one night.
