Great location easy walking distance to town centre.

Access to toilet from bedrooms as had to take care at night as had to step down then up the stairs to access the bathroom.

Lovely little house with everything you need, comfortable, beautiful decorated. Excellent location. Very helpful owners. Will definitely use again.

Absolute gem of a little property within 7 minutes walk of the Shambles. This well equipped and beautifully decorated property had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay memorable. Emily and Rowan were easy to communicate with went out of their way to ensure we were able to park free of charge directly outside at no cost. Not a single thing we would have changed. I understand now why they get booked up so quickly. If we’re back in York again we’d definitely book here.

Ideal location for a two-night stay in York - approx 5 mins walk to the city centre and city walls are at the end of the road. The house was beautifully decorated, extremely well equipped and most importantly in my eyes, spotlessly clean. Appreciated the welcome pack, kitchen essentials, toiletries etc.

If I’m being really picky a surface to put things on in the back bedroom, eg a shelf for hairbrush etc, would be nice, but very minor!

The property is in a fantastic location only minutes walk from many of the sights in York. Beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished. Equipped with everything you could need and the addition of wine, snacks and milk was welcome. We were met by Rowan who showed us round and recommended some local pubs. We can’t recommend this property and Rowan & Emily highly enough and will definitely be returning.

Great location, only 5/10 minutes walk from York city centre. Quaint house, nicely decorated throughout. Lovely little garden with searing area at the rear.

Bathroom shower an overhead one and the pressure iis not great. Also, the shower doors does prevent water leaking onto floor area ( not huge amounts, but enough to need a bath mat to soak it up.. The temperature is controlled via the taps and takes time to adjust. Ok, if you’re an adult but my daughter found it tricky to control. It would be so much better if this was addressed, as it distracts from what is a lovely property. Saying that, it is fully functional, just need to put bath mats down which are available in store cupboard in large bedroom.
