Stunning cottage nestled under the Longmynd Hills.

We had such a lovely stay in the cottage. Perfectly placed for amazing walks (recommend turning left out of farm and just heading up (and up!) through the forest to the gliders) and visiting surrounding towns and villages. Cottage itself is beautiful, with everything you need for cosy few days. Well thought out and the little touches are perfect. Loved our stay and was a great introduction to the area! Can’t wait to go back.

We had a fantastic stay at Betty’s Dairy! The cottage was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had a relaxing experience. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend!

A beautiful cottage in a lovely location with very friendly and helpful hosts. There were lots of really well thought out touches that made it a very comfortable stay. Perfect location for walking straight from the doorstep and good facilities for wet and muddy kit. Communication before we arrived and while we were there was great.

Cosy and everything you needed for a great stay

What is there not to like? This property is full of character and charm, very comfortable and warm and extremely well decorated. Lovely touch from the owner to have a goodies basket and milk in the fridge. We fell in love with the place as soon as we walked in. The owners were very attentive and friendly and clearly took care and pride in renovating these old barns to give their guests the best possible experience.

Bettys dairy is a little gem, everything for an enjoyable and comfy stay has been provided, even down to vegan crisps. It was hard to leave on Sunday. Thank you Chris and Kirsty, we will be back 🙏

Nothing, everything was perfect

Thank you for such a cosy, relaxing and warm cottage break. Super comfy bed, amazing shower and very clean throughout. Location is perfect for visiting the local villages like Leominster, Ludlow, Shrewsbury and of course for walking at Carding Mill Valley. The welcome hamper was cute and very generous. Communication from hosts was great, ready to help with anything you need. We really enjoyed our weekend break here and will be returning again! You have created a lovely little place here.

The cottage was cosy and exceptionally well equipped with many thoughtful additional touches. The location is great for exploring the extensive walking on the Long Mynd. It's a must for any fans of the Lone Pine children's books by Malcolm Saville which are set in the local area and the cottage provides a set of them to enjoy as well as many charming nods to the characters throughout the property. The hosts were extremely helpful in pointing out local walks and amenities and the visitors book was comprehensive. The guest parking was conveniently opposite the gate, the drying/utility room was very useful and the welcome pack including milk/tea/coffee was much appreciated. A fantastic break!

What a beautiful property in a magical location (thank you for the tip to drive up over the hills, Wow!) The toys and extra bits for the children were brilliant and meant they were well entertained for the weekend. We did a lovely walk from the door through autumn leaves and can imagine this would be beautiful in the winter too. Very well equipped cottage with everything we needed. We didn't want to leave!
