Modern Garden Apartment in a Large Victorian house

Location was great and apartment was well equipped with all the basics needed, I liked that fresh towels were provided. Host was also responsive and helpful ( via messaging), especially when we had trouble connecting with the wifi. Instructions for keys and directions were provided clearly before arrival via email.

Pictures on booking.com seems to be a bit misleading/ from a much earlier time. In reality, the apartment seemed a bit worn out, grey/dreary, utensils chipped and ultra basic (think the cheapest Ikea fare), walls had damp stain in places and paint was chipped, and floor was not wooden (like the picture) but carpeted. Not a big issue but we had a different image in mind from the photos. For a family stay of 4 people, minimum things were provided for example, just a couple of rolls of toilet paper, washing up liquid in kitchen had only a little bit left. Things felt a bit impersonal and had a general lack of warmth, including the furnishing of the appartment and the welcome. Although our host never met us a quick phone call to say hello would have been a nice touch. Double bed in main bedroom wasn't good, too small. The appartment was next to a construction site and that bought down the vibe of the atmosphere. Also the construction site hid the entrance to the apartment complex, we struggled to find the door for a while. Finding a parking space around was tricky, but cannot fault the host for that. The property has lots of potential just needs a bit of TLC, warmth, and personal touch for guests.

I liked the space the garden area and how close it was to busesand trains! But very quiet too!

Everything u needed was there including tea bags when u got there!

The double bed was dreadful I slept on the lounge Please go and buy a decent good quality queen size bed
