"Beautiful rural setting ideally located"

Accomodation located well away from the host's house ensuring privacy. Fabulous gardens and rural views. Ideally located 15 mins from Bristol, Keynsham and the Mendips. Excellent communication from very friendly host who went out of his way to sort the one problem I had. Highly recommended.

It's a very rural location with rather narrow roads which may put some people off. The bed and table fold into the wall and can be a bit heavy (but fine for the average able bodied adult). Similarly, the bed is fairly high up to get in and out of - but very comfortable.

This is an amazing place to stay. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, fantastically equipped and wonderfully cosy. Loved having the option to have an open fire too

"Great way to spend a Bank Holiday."

Duncan was really welcoming and friendly. The shepherds hut was immaculate. The privacy was great. The local pub was a few minutes walk and was really friendly and the food was good. The location is stunning and there is great access to other places nearby.

If you are cycling/walking be prepared for the hills. But once you get used to them they are little more than a speed bump

Overall the hut was clean and very comfortable. it was well equipped with quality furniture, a large pulldown bed and all the necessary facilities including a good shower, it even had a heated floor which was a nice touch. The surrounding area was peaceful with views of nature and small animals, a great place to relax for a weekend. The location was ideal as well being only a 20 minute drive from both Bath and Bristol. I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend and would highly recommend staying there.

Peaceful location and a cozy stay. All the equipment needed were there all with great taste and care. Duncan was very welcoming and provided us with plenty of firewood to enjoy the cold nights.
