Prefect in every way

An attractive accommodation, very well & thoughtfully organised for the comfort of guests. Very comfortable bed. Amazing breakfast. Rachael was a most charming and welcoming host and we would thoroughly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

there was fresh milk in the room

We did not see the host at all on the two mornings we were staying. The continental food was laid out in the kitchen and it felt uncomfortable sitting there as it seemed as if no one was in the house

It is close to where my daughter lives. Surprisingly rural and very quiet, considering it is not far from the city.

Breakfast was adequate, but a little spartan.

Lovely owners and beautiful position in Churchdown with a selection of walks leading from the Green. Rachael and Peter have gone out of their way to use the available top floor space to its best advantage. Good view from the window. Wi-Fi was good as was the TV signal allowing Nerflix and Amazon to be preloaded for watching. Breakfast was ample - very nice seeded Sourdough bread which toasted well. Happy with uncooked Continental choices. King bed was fine - no rolling to the middle! Thank you for your hospitality and for helping us make the most of our short stay 5th

If it was our cottage, we wouldn't have chosen to enforce the taking off of shoes, particularly on a dry day as soon as arriving. We found the room a little cramped and didn't like the open plan layout to the shower room and lack of lockable door although we were aware of this beforehand. We found it bizarre not to have all necessary cutlery on our breakfast table. With only two knives for use with four guests, we took and used one knife each at our table (we put the butter and marmalade on to the toast as we eat) so not sure how the other guests managed. It would be our opinion that sharing knives with other people and supposedly leaving them in the general serving area, would not be everyone's choice and certainly wasn't ours, particularly after lessons learned since Covid. We appreciate everyone is different though and perhaps not so fussy

Extremely welcoming and informative hosts. Very lovely room and comfortable bed and pillows. Much enjoyed the personal feel staying in a family home.

Ideally a door on the en suite but I understand that is being addressed. However not really a problem.
