Beautiful Georgian Home in the heart of Chichester

This is a lovely little house in an excellent location, just outside the city walls. It was beautifully furnished and equipped and mostly clean (except for some kitchen problems - see below). Although it's on a busy road, the windows were very well sound-proofed, so it was quiet indoors. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and given in good time. Fresh Air Holidays made it very clear that parking was limited and we weren't expecting to park at the property so it was a pleasant surprise when we realised our car did fit. For reference, if it helps anyone else, we managed to squeeze a Ford Focus into the parking but that's definitely the biggest it could have taken. Our friend used nearby Westgate carpark which was cheap and convenient for overnight.

Cooking was a challenge. The kitchen has an induction hob but not all of the pans provided were suitable. Two of the pans couldn't get water to more than a gentle simmer and one didn't work at all. The oven was filthy - it was covered in grease, as was the grill pan and there was only one shelf. Another baking tray in there was dirty and I had to wash it up before I could use it. Also, there was NO TIN OPENER! One other comment, although we were told which was the recycling bin, there was no information about what we could put in it!

A lovely house which was comfortable and well equipped. We were concerned by the busy road but inside the house it was very quiet with the double glazing. Well equipped kitchen in which some of the basics were provided. It is very close to the town centre and the theatre.

The double bed on the second floor was not so comfortable.
