Modern 1 Bedroom Holiday Apartment in Southminster

Location was great , small compact apartment, everything we needed it for ,great shower, great communication from host

No hairdryer (or couldn’t find it?) could of done with a blind for front door ,

Comfortable bed. Whilst a very compact apartment it was a clever use of space. Good communication with host.

It would have been better if TV reception was improved by outdoor arial rather than internal one stuck on wall with blue tack, which was ineffective and annoying. Although next to a shop it would have been welcoming to have arrived with complimentary tea, coffee and milk. I’m glad I bought my hair dryer as none was included.

Spotlessly clean, great shower, ground floor, parking. I needed to contact the owner and he was very helpful. Bathroom was good.

Uncomfortable furniture, small sofa, poor ventilation, it was hot in the apartment. I did mention the sofa to the owner who said he would replace it. Early departure time of 9am. The bedroom was cramped. The whole apartment was very small.

The tv signal was poor. The antenna was in the room. So when you move the tv would block. It needs an external Ariel.

Good light through the front and rear double glazed doors

Only a small window in en-suite to ventilate whole property which was very hot and stuffy in the hot weather. Being told we had to buy floor cleaning materials ourselves.

Convenient. Modern. Great shower. Close to all facilities & was in a good location for us to visit relatives & explore the area. Very reasonable price.

As previous review said need a blind on front door to block our the street light. Back door had to be locked & there are no windows. We felt claustrophobic & opened the small bathroom window to let in some air.( front door opens to street)
