It is the best Selina in Nicaragua, feel at home, it is very clean. you can enjoy the pool and closed by beach for surfing

10-15 min driving from downtown. not a big issue but just to have it in mind.

"Beautiful property, great stay"

For a hostel it felt like a mini resort. Clean friendly and some activities if you wanted to participate in them. We had a deluxe room as it was the end of our trip and felt like treating ourselves. It was perfect Pool was clean and the property was chill but social

Food prices were average but good however the drinks were very expensive for a hostel. A local beer was 3 American dollars for a small bottle. Double the price from all bars and hostels we stayed at on our trip. In comparison a 1 litre local beer on the beach was 3 American dollars. But that is my only complaint. So really not that bad. Yes the walk to the beach is not the best but totally manageable Big hill up both ways. But a nice downhill walk to finish it off. About 15 min walking an average speed

The pool

when we arrived and we were told there was a “welcome drink” I became worried we ended up in a party hostel - they started blasting music at 8:30PM and it was so loud we had to ask for it to be turned down.

"Amazing service and drinks "

Salinas at maderas was one-one the best experience I have had, despite I have stayed at many Salinas in Central amarica Grab a drink in the bar, and ask for the bartender "Carlos from Granada". Despite being a bit of a character, his amazing drinks, crazy stories and passion of singing hakuna matata will give you a true local experience. Carlos from granada will provide you with travel advises, and tell you information regarding animals in the area, which was extremely usefull for me as a solo traveller in nigeragua.

Beautiful outdoor areas

The bungalows are connected so you hear everything from your neighbour! Would have been easy to construct them differently.... Prices at the bar and the vending machine are ridiculously overpriced, a beer is more than 110 cordobas. The whole place seems overhyped...
