Heather Mere Cottage, Bowness-on-Windermere

Very clean and lovely house in a terrific location close to Bowness and walking distance to the lake and Windermere village.

Parking a little bit tricky but not a massive issue.

We were there with a small dog but front garden is not secure also on last day for some reason strong smell of chimney soot all afternoon

An amazing cottage, this exceptional accommodation enhanced our stay in the Lake District. The Cottage had all modern facilities, was comfortable, clean, luxurious and had everything we needed and more, included were extra thoughtful touches such as milk, chocolate and marshmallows for a hot chocolate. I would highly recommend this accommodation for its ideal location in Windermere. We would definitely stay again in the future.

The location of the property was perfect and every facility in the home was exactly as described. The decor was extremely tasteful and beautifully maintained. We love the fact that the property was dog friendly and the log burner was a fantastic extra. We would definitely stay here again.
