Hemingway Suites at Palm Beach Hotel Island

The heated pool and the staff were outstanding. Plus the valet service was very helpful. The information left in the room about the area was also very helpful.

The room was nice but needed to be dusted. Lighting is dark usually in the bathroom and they need another trash can in the room. The tiny one in the bathroom wasn't enough. The worst thing was there is no privacy with the blinds and you wake up at dawn because it so Bright, which is not relaxing.

Great location, can visit many places walking. Very nice pool area, great water temperature.

Past time for the room to be totally updated. Walls need plaster work, molding needs replaced, toilet from the 80’s. Bathroom is too small for the vanity. Bathroom faucet is not fully attached, it wobbles. Tub should be replaced with walk in shower, it wold fit better. Bathroom mirror has defects all around the edges. Because paint is chipped, scuffed… can’t tell what is dirty and what is damaged. Hotel Hallway smell’s musty, it looks dirty. There is wood trim falling off… Understand the place is old but the place has been painted, improperly, so many times it will be hard to make the place not look “worn out”.

This was such a beautiful place. The pool area and courtyard were gorgeous. Staff was very helpful. They have a shuttle service right outside that was way faster, cheaper, more reliable, and friendlier than Uber or Lyft or yellow cabs.

Check in was painful, we arrived early about 10a, front desk clerk told us room NOT available until 3:00- ALL ROOMS are available by 2:00pm. Not only did she try to keep us from early check in – she literally tried to keep us from getting into our room at regular check in time that we paid for! She is a very poor reflection on the facility, which is old but decent enough. Even after the Airbnb Owner texted me that we could have 2 hr early check in – the woman at the front desk denied us for an additional 20 minutes, delaying our check in even further. Beyond miserable. The owner fortunately was very responsive with near immediate replies. It’s unfortunate that the lady at the front desk has such poor customer service – literally unbelievable. Alas – this hotel is location location location.

Anyone Anything would've been better than the misery sitting at the front desk for check in. She seems to delight in frustrating people.

Air conditioner was very very loud, couldn’t sleep.
