Uroa Zanzibar Vera Beach Hotel by Moonshine

The location close to the sea. People working on the location of Vera Beach were very kind (does not count People from their other hotel in the village).

The negligence about the location data and contacts. On the booking site the GPS location takes you to the main land, close to islamic school of Uroa Dikoni instead to the coast. We were calling the hotel for the location a couple of times. We got a response after 4 hours on whats up. There are no signs on the road about where to go off the main road to reach the hotel. We were asking local people, at the reception desks of other hotels...nobody knew the hotel. They were helping us with calling the hotel, searching data about the hotel on internet... ... We needed more than 2 hours to find it and we had to pay taxi driver on the end to take us there..... We also sent the message via booking..and got reply after 4 hours....but nobody at the hotel really cared about this when we told our experience...traveling with a kid is a nightmare in such a situation. On the top of that they have very strange price policy. I have booked the hotel in July with no possibility to cancel (means they would charge me the whole price for not coming) According to my experiences working in tourism this should be the best price at the highest risk...but after the reservation the regular price was set at aprox 33% lower level.. And they also did not care about that.... Food was worse in comparison with other hotels in Zanzibar where we were staying before (same price level). So very bitter experience...one of the worst in our life...and we travel a lot.
