Dennis, the manager, is a super nice guy and attentive to guests' needs but has to control employee Aisha from invading into guests' privacy. He failed to respond appropriately to the concern brought to his attention since he is too nice and Aisha did not abate her familiarity, her intervention being divisive and entirely unprofessional. The lunch and dinner food at the restaurant was pretty good.

Aisha's intervention into what was supposed to be a couples' retreat. I've never before encountered such unprofessional behavior from a hotel staff member.

The breakfast could have had more variety. I enjoyed the fruits, though. The view was beautiful. The staff was friendly. They helped a lot when I was sick. Thank you to Zuri and Denise for assisting a lot while I was sick. The staff was helpful

The electricity cuts without warning. The water cut without warning. The water leaking in the bathroom on my second last day. I wish your first aid kit had pain killers. I was incredibly disappointed when the doctor, who Denise reached out to, charged me 20 US dollars for a tray of pain killers without consultation. I felt he took advantage of a tourist who was in desperate need of pain killers. That left a distasteful impression.

There is nothing not to love about Vera Beach! -Dennis the manager is a star and so is the rest of the staff! -brilliant location-beautiful and quiet. -facilities are fantastic; the pool was clean and warm, room was well kept and great views. -breakfasts were great too! Changing a little bit everyday. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to rest, and even tour around Zanzibar as this is a well located hotel, not too far from various spots. We even extended our stay by 2 nights. Just perfect!
