Uroa Zanzibar Vera Beach Hotel by Moonshine

Lovely hotel, right on the beach. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They had bad rain in the days before we arrived and the hotel had electrical issues so they moved us to their boutique hotel, just down the road, with a free bottle of champagne :)

A number of things including the location and staff. Felt very safe and looked after. Especially by one of the staff named Abi! looked after us so well for the duration of our stay, be sure to ask him for anything if you decide to stay! 10/10

Had some issues with the initial booking, but the owner was very generous and and upgraded our booking. The staff was also very frendly. Great location at the beach.

Loved the fact its in the beach. The rooms on the ground floor were beautiful. Sunrise from the room was also nice. We were offered a welcome drink which was a nice touch. Beeakfast was good and in line of what Zanzibar offers (fruit, egg and bread). Staff were nice.

The rooms in the second floor were ok, but the back room (quadriple room) was a greenhouse. AC only present on fron oart of the room. The place was quite quiet and no real "vibe". We weren't given water in rooms to drink.

The views were spectacular! The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming all the time. The food was great The place was kept clean all the time.

Zanzibar is expensive as it uses the dollar compare to us using the Rands. So everything was double or triple South Africa rands
