No tv wouldn’t work no connection Shower broken only scalding water coming out Ceiling falling down in bedroom Poor selection of dishes/glasses No complimentary tea coffee etc

The location was very good.

42 steps up a wrought iron staircase to get into the property, slippy when wet. Door difficult to open Couldn't use the shower or bath as the cold water tap was broken and the water was boiling. Contacted the emergency help number, no one answered, no one returned any of my calls. Dirty in places, walls peeling with paint, window stuffed with tissue paper to stop draughts, sofa filthy, ceiling paint coming off in the bathroom, no frying pan, no normal TV you can only watch Netflix and streamed channels. The list is endless. Fire trap as only one way out down the staircase. Radiators old and some coming off the walls. Very tired property, needs redecorating, plastering, maintenance of the shower and new sofas.

The location and price.

It could do with a make over. Big crack in the ceiling in bedroom. Paint flaking off walls. Dead plants. Cobwebs. Could do with a good big clean.

The location is amazing, you are so close to Bowness on Windermere. Once you park (I parked on the next street along and found parking easily) you can walk to the numerous shops and restaurants nearby. The palm pad to get into the flat is a good idea so you can come and go without worrying about a key (but the door itself needs attention!) We asked last minute to extend our checkout and we did get given an extra hour which was helpful.

The door is extremely difficult to open and close and the handle is so wobbly you think it's going to come off in your hand every time you touch it. The shower was interesting! It doesn't hold up very well and you get boiling water at night and cold water in the morning! There wasn't a frying pan which was a little annoying. Also, there were no toiletries which was on the list of things provided. The place was clean in areas but overlooked in other places. Also, the deposit was said to return 24-48hours after departure and it took more than a week. This flat could be great but it needs a little bit of a touch up and care.

Excellent location in the centre, lots of things nearby. Kitchen was nice and clean. Easy to access with electronic pin pad.

Bathroom wasn’t as clean as we would expect and in need of decoration. Bathroom light did not work so we couldn’t shower at night. Living room furniture a bit tatty and in need of a clean or replacing. Bedding clean but one of the single beds had some staining and animal hair on the bedding. Had to chase several times to get the security deposit back.

Location was great

The location is great, however you have to park about 1km away due to the closest car park being a short stay only. The beds are clean and comfortable, and the kitchen facilities are good. For the price, it met expectations.

It wasn't clean enough for us when we arrived, so we had to clean around. The decor needs some work.

Great location, quite a few steps to climb to get in

Lovely place in a great location at a super reasonable price. Only slight improvements I could offer: tea / coffee would be a nice addition. The shower isn’t great to use if you’re taller than 5’11” as the cord doesn’t stretch very far. They really are super picky things as everything else was brilliant.
