Sunny Brae, dog friendly Windermere Cottage

The space in the property was fantastic. We stayed in winter but in warm weather the outside space would be great. The location was perfect and well situated. Parking was great as there was on street parking just outside.

The wasn’t anything we didn’t like. More cutlery such as a knife set for cooking and scissors in the kitchen we be good for meal prep. The log burner had a crack in it so it caused the living room to get very smokey so we only used it once.

Thankyou for a lovely stay we had a lovely time. We loved the quirky 4 floors with the kitchen on the ground floor. Plenty of space. Everything we needed and easy walking access to pubs and grocery stores. Thanks again.

Sofa very uncomfortable and beds and pillows too soft. Everything else good

Lovely location, lots to do, the property is beautiful and has made a 1 time visit into a yearly tradition with friends

My only issues where that we only could use 1 bathroom and showroom during the visit, however was luck after by the host so massively recommend

Parking can be an issue but we managed to find parking not far from the property

The property was very clean and a great location

The radiator in the lounge wasn’t working and the temperature dropped on the Sunday so the room was very cold. I couldn’t dispense the shampoo & conditioner in the bathroom on the 2nd floor as too tight in the container. The kitchen cupboards need to be re-hung. The kitchen should have some scissors as we chose to eat in for 2 nights
