Southampton High Street 2 bedroom Apartment

Got to the property to find the whole apartment occupied which meant, as it had been doubke booked. A gentleman came and we got sent to another building and given 3 seperate studios. It then became apparent that this was a place for ‘workers’ … we had some man try our bell numerous times. Someone let him in at the main door and he followed us around, followed us to our room and kept knocking, flashing a wad of cash at the peep hole on the door. This resulted in us bring mattress down to one room and we all slept together as we didnt feel safe. Lets not forget the rats in the yard!

We also found each studio had issues. Top floor none of the sockets worked, with a tv leant against a unit. Bottom floor the flush was not attached to the toilet, we were told to put our hand in a hole and manually pull the chain, it had overflowed all night so was noisy. Then the socket on the wall was smashed.

Good location Parking space Fine for 1 night pre cruise stay but wouldn't want to stay any longer

Carpets loose and trip hazard Couldn't find bedding for the 5 & 6 person booked. Found stained duvet which had no covers

The apt location was excellent to the old town. It was very spacious with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and nice sized kitchen and living room. Very secure

Although there have been upgraded and everything worked, the appointments were older etc. However in our case this was alright with us given the liked comments

Good location for ferry port, only 5 minute walk.

Property smelt very damp. Carpets old and not fitting properly. Shower in master en-suite barely usable as so little water pressure.

poor communication on where to get the key booked for 6 persons but only 3 towels available. no shower gel and shampoo until request

Great location, perfect for working at sea works in mayflower park.

It was really close to The 1865 and other attractions. It was also nice to only have that flat on the floor.

Very difficult to find. No numbers on the building only names. The balcony door was broken so we couldn’t get any air in the flat unless opening the kitchen window which had the bins underneath and therefore an inordinate amount of flies came in.

Great location and flexible check in arrangements. Spacious room.

No hairdryer and no hand soap refilled in one of the bathroom. Cleanliness can be improved more.

there was no topcarpet but what appeared to be padding which was not attached to transition floor sills, was bucled and caught feet. A REAL TRIP HAZARD AND LIABILITY THE SHOWER IN ONE BEDROOM PROVIDED NO WATER the unit is good sized, centrally located, and clean. bed was comfotable
