Very nice, more like staying at a friend's house than any hotel

Neighborhood was a little difficult to navigate. Mostly due to my own unfamiliarity.

This property appears to just be get started, so I expect it will improve over time. Already the new furnishings and appliances make an impact. The AC appears to be new and worked wonderfully during 90-degree days to keep us cool. The large TV in the family room was fantastic for watching movies in the evening. Everyone had good, hot showers and reported the beds were very comfortable (as was all the furniture). We didn't really use the kitchen, but the fridge and stove as well as smaller appliances appear to be new. We were able to have coffee in the mornings. The best part of this property for us was that it permitted pets; having the fenced backyard for our puppy was awesome!

The neighborhood is unfortunately run down and this property is the best on the block. We knew that going in. Once inside the house felt like luxury compared to the neighborhood. I think this is a good rental and the owner is honestly investing in making it better. I hope the other houses on the block follow suit. The location was actually great in terms of getting to all the tourist sites we wanted to visit.
