Appartamento House of Roses con vista Duomo

Very big appartment, located very close to the city center and with views to the cathedral and mountain.

Could be cleaner (specially under the sofas). The kitchen had no dish towel, only a bit of kitchen paper.

Host is incredibly kind and accommodating. Good parking and brilliant location. Apartment is big and great value for money.

This apartment was lovely and immaculate. It was quite large, with plenty of room for our family of four people. We visited in December, so we were unable to really use the four balconies, but can imagine how nice to have them available in the warmer months. The decor was homey. Both the kitchen and the living room were cozy and inviting. The location of the apartment is perfect. We travelled by train from Milan and easily walked to the apartment from the Como Lago station. We easily walked to the old town too. Many great restaurants are close by as well as a couple of local coffee shops are literally just steps away. Thomas is a wonderful host who is quite personable and very responsive. We actually think he is the best host we have ever had:). We brought our dog, and Thomas put out a little doggie bed as well as water and food bowls. Thank you Thomas.

Nothing but do suggest a shower curtain for the second bathroom as water sprayed out on the floor when using the showerhead above the walk in tub.

The position was central

We are very used to staying in a variety of accommodation & we found this lacking no instructions in English . The power went out when using the air conditioner & oven. A few little extras like enough tea bags & coffee would have helped. The property has just changed hands & I think they have a lot to learn
