Dream Vacation Apartment Right On The Beach

Complicated check-in procedure

This is my second stay at this unit. There were a few technical issues/repairs that needed to be addressed from my first stay & it was nice to see they were fixed. Tightened the sink faucet & replaced the handle on the balcony door, that was so hard to open. Pablo our host, responded immediately to a loudly beeping smoke detector that was going off when we first got there and fixed the situation. He also allowed us early check in and late check out to accommodate our flights.

There were no hand towels, only bath, beach & washcloths. This was a minor issue. I've stayed at condo rentals with the same issue. Some guests take them, which don't understand. The refrigerator is still leaking water into both drawers & the bottom. I had to put a big bowl on the top shelf to catch the water. Not really a big deal though.

- due to rainfalls there was water in the apartment. The owner did nothing. We had to clean up by ourselves - the apartment was pretty dirty. The cleaning staff was not motivated. The owner wanted us to point to the dirt that it could be cleaned up - definitely not our job on vacation. Its clearly the owners job - The whole building incl. the partment was dated - needs a renovation - Beds were very dirty (huge yellow stains)

Spacious apartment with all required appliances, great host and very well located at the beach.

The door to the balcony can be difficult to open, but this is a detail really.

Good Wifi and TVs in the unit. Plenty of space. Beach location is great if weather is nice.

Need a better system to pick up the building key fob. I wasn't around when the office was open between 9 and 5 so was never able to pick it up. Apt should be stocked with more facial tissues and hand soap for guests. Also would be nice to have some food delivery suggestions/menus.

The view from balcony was great, pool & beach were steps away. The size of the unit was perfect for us 3 adults. It was nicely decorated. There were a few technical issues that needed to be addressed. Fortunately, our host Pablo responded immediately & kept on top of the situation to make sure our concerns were taken care of.

The kitchen faucet was super wobbly, needs to be fixed. The refrigerator was leaking water into the bottom & the drawers. This continued our entire stay & we had to keep cleaning it up. It leaked into our food containers & ruined some of our food. The bathroom shower needs a little attention. It had 2 shower heads. The one that can be handheld, the hose broke off when I took it off to use it the first time. The end of the hose that threads onto the shower head was half broken & missing & the washer fell out. It must have already been that way because no piece came off when it broke. There's also 3 shelves that are broken off & should be replaced. There's no room to store your shampoo etc.
