For me the property is perfect.

Beautiful location and the cottage stay was superb. The host was responsive and provided with clear instructions to make the experience smooth. Thank you for hosting us. We will stay again and will recommend to those who would enjoy a getaway from the maddening crowd.

The whole package! Amazing cottage with just the most beautiful interior as well as garden. It felt like a mini-holiday and I would return anytime!

Absolutely nothing do be disliked.

The cottage was in a great location and we loved the thatched roof and the warm cottage feel. Our American friends were in awe and how cute it looked. The communal gardens were well maintained giving you a great first impression. Having two bathrooms adds to the convenience of access in the morning and evening. The back garden is very pretty with a secluded decking area at the back overlooking a pond/lake in the distance.

The staircase is a little bit narrow and steep and for taller individuals, you can easily bump your head on the ground floor ledge.

Wow!!!!! Wowow!!!!! If you get the opportunity to stay there. Do it. What a place. It’s like a fairytale. We were two couples and i didn’t want to leave.

Beautiful, idyllic cottage in a great location. The garden was beautiful and very well looked after. Responsive heating so the cottage was warm and toasty.

The bedding was clean but smelled of cigarette smoke.

The cottage is storybook-perfect! Unbelievably quaint with loads of big windows to take in the garden and views across Abbey Fields. We could see the swans and their 5 cygnets gliding across the lake. Numerous outdoor seating options, a friendly neighborhood cat, and the spring blooms made this a stay to remember. Inside is fully updated while maintaining the historic quirks and charms of this cottage. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals, which we mostly enjoyed out in the garden. The beds were super comfy! Your host takes great care to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. Great communication. Don't hesitate to book this lovingly maintained historic cottage; you will not regret it!

The nearest grocery store was a bit of a walk away, but it was through the big park, so not really a hardship. The stairs to the bedrooms are a bit narrow and steep which was fine for us, but others may find them to be a little challenging when carrying a suitcase (it's only a short flight, mentioned simply for awareness). There was a bit of work being done several days while we were there, which did add a bit of noise and disrupt the peace and privacy. The workers were very polite, and the work had to be done, but it did intrude enough over the course of several days to comment upon.

Lovely little fairy cottage with lots of pretty flowers and nature, both myself and my son have autism and our home was having work done so we decided to get away from that for the night at the last minute. We all found it very therapeutic, one of the reasons we booked this cottage was for the spa bath, but nobody ended up using it as we were all happy and relaxed within the cottage and surroundings. Host was very pleasant and helpful.

parking, I had to pay at a local car park as the road was permit only. The property price was a bit of a squeeze on our budget, but I’m glad we paid that bit more.
