"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and think we may well book again later in the year. The garden in summer must be lovely."

The property had a tremendous amount of character and the host had installed high quality furnishings, fittings and appliances. Its location was excellent and parking at The Queen and Castle convenient and free for twenty four hours should you frequent the establishment.

No capsules for the coffee machine and just a few milk capsules were disappointing.

"Relaxing, Super Cosy, everything you need perfect stay"

Great location for Stoneleigh park, Castle right there and also great for coffee shops and a great restaurant right on the doorstep, cottage was super cosy, beds very comfy, lots of history and loved the beams and thatch, views of the river and sheep from the bedrooms, really could relax there. Great communications from Helen.

Such a lovely property and very unique. Comfortable, warm and beautiful inside and out. Such a great location. Close to restaurants and the town. A visit to the castle is very close by also. Lovely owner who provided everything we needed.

"Wonderful place!"

Loved the beautiful gardens, the comfortable beds, the great location and the uniqueness of the place!

The only downside was that my parents (both in their 80s) had difficulty with the narrow stairs, the uneven paths outside and the very tall step-in bathtub/shower in the main bathroom. But we made it work and really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful house in a great location to some fabulous pubs and restaurants! Charming and picturesque! Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Gardens were stunning and already can’t wait to go back in summer!

"A spacious and comfortable cottage in a fantastic location and with a perfect summer garden."

All of the rooms are well equipped and spacious and the cottage benefits from 2 bathrooms and one with a huge spa bath. It has a delightful sunny garden enjoying views over the fields and with great cafes, restaurants and pubs all directly across the street.
