Amalfi Rooms & Suite Duoglio Beach - seaview

Beautiful room recently renovated and furnished in "love" style with Jacuzzi tub in the room, chromotherapy and scented candles. Very very nice. The bar is right under the house and the Duoglio beach, one of the most beautiful in Amalfi, is just 10 minutes away on foot.

Parking in the center of Amalfi is very difficult and expensive, eight euros an hour, if you want to stay for a day it costs 150 euros. We knew this and we opted for this room which is located in an area a little further away from the centre, paying only 20 euros a day and traveling with the buses that stop outside the house.

Big and modern room and bathroom, Beautiful sea view. Very clean. Garage just under the house (25 euros, not cheap but so useful, otherwise you'll have to park quite far from the room), One can have light breakfast at a bar very close to the location and there is a good minimarket not far from it. Even if we didn't meet her in person, our host Michela has been easy to contact and very helpful.

The information on the Booking site should be updated: we didn't see any "daily breakfast" which "offers Italian, vegetarian or vegan options", and the "FREE parking!", if there is one, is not in the immediate proximity - the one under the house is by payment, as said before. Also, the entrance door to our room stood in fact on a kind of elevated sidewalk for pedestrians, so there is a problem of privacy if you want to "feel free" in the room while leaving the door open.

We really liked the new and well-coordinated furniture, and the spaciousness of the room, with the very characteristic vaulted ceiling. The spectacular view of the sea. You can also see the beach of Il Duoglio which can be reached in 15 minutes on foot. All services at your fingertips, the bar under the house, the bus stop, an enclosed garage, the stairs to the sea, a supermarket, and only 10 steps to enter the house, a real rarity for the Coast where often they also make 50 to 300. Excellent value for money.
