The swiches for shower, shower fan, lights & water heater not being labelled resulting in repeat experimentation

Karen was a lovely hostess. Perfectly situated to get to various places. Lovely and quiet. Breakfast was delish🤩

Very friendly hosts, keen to make our stay very enjoyable with recommendations of places to visit and eat. Old vintage house but kept very clean and comfortable, lovely fresh breakfast every morning, don’t worry about vegetarian sausages as they are lovely and I wouldn’t have known any different. Location is brilliant for the lower south part of Cornwall.

Everything was great. The only two niggles were our private bathroom which you have to go out of the room and it’s on the left (no issues with that) but the window could do with a blind and the shower cubicle leaks so mopping up to do afterwards. Other thing was wall between ours and next door must be quite thin and if someone is in that room with a loud voice you can hear word for word conversations.

What a surprise when you go through the door in to another world of character and history, the decor, furnishings and structure of the building were to be admired. The welcome from Karen was very friendly and welcoming, our room was very large and again characterful with original beams and very thick walls and vintage furnishings. Our breakfast we hadn't realised was vegetarian but absolutely not a problem as the full English was as tasty as a non-vegetarian!! Karen was very helpful in recommendations of places to visit and dine.
