The property and room were immaculately clean . Parking outside was no problem. Location was central to our needs. The bedroom was small but as advertised, so no complaints.

Our room was above the dining area, some guests who wanted an early start, (pre-7am), had breakfast below us. The noise carried and woke us up. Likewise the 1st night Karen left the music from the hub playing which woke my wife at 3am and me at 5 am. Necessitating me getting up to unplug it. Karen was very apologetic and I’m sure this is an occurrence which won’t be repeated for anyone else, but note the walls/floors allow noise to pass through.

Very friendly and polite host. We felt from the beginning very welcome. Breakfast was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Location was excellent for the areas we wanted to travel to , Karen was happy and attentive and breakfast set us up for the day .

This was a last minute booking so we were grateful for the room. Lovely home and rooms and bathroom was tastefully decorated.

The bed we had was exceptionally uncomfortable. It was incredibly soft and lumpy and creaked at every movement. Didn't get a good night's sleep at all. The walls between the rooms are paper thin so you could hear the tv, conversation and snoring quite easily from other guests in the B&B.

Britannia House is a lovely property with loads of character and great facilities. Karen was very understanding, changing the day of our stay when our travel plans were altered at short notice. The breakfast was great, setting us up for our onward travel. Thank you!
