USSmall clean apartment. Simple.
Elevators not working (appt is on 4th floor), dog excrement in passage way (there for three days), vomit on stairways, trash and cigarette butts every where. Generally poorly kept and zero cleaning. No blackout curtains (in fact no curtains on higher windows). Air conditioning cannot handle heat load and bedroom reached over 80 degrees early evening. Fire / smoke alarms removed. So safety hazard.

Roach traps everywhere and there was a list of chores they wanted us to do before the check out. This was never mentioned anywhere, so we just did what we thought would be normal.

A king sized bed would have been better. No coffee pot.
DEWohnung war sehr gut eingerichtet und sauber. Küche hat alles notwendige gehabt. Stellplatz für das Auto war vorhanden und nahe an der Wohnung. Betten waren sehr bequem. Wohnung ist ruhig und insgesamt sehr gut ausgestattet.

When we arrived at the room, it had not been cleaned at all. The bathtub was clogged, making it unusable. The owner later reached out and explained that the cleaner had not shown up. The owner then asked us to move to a different unit, but when we got there, it was also not properly prepared. There were wet towels hanging on the shower door, and the bed looked like someone had just slept in it. Since it was already late at night, we had no choice but to stay there. Although the unit had a dishwasher, only one detergent pod was provided. The checkout process included a long list of chores, such as “place the white towels in the laundry with 1 wash tab and 1 bleach tab provided above the washing machine”— but they didn’t even provide a bleach tab. This felt excessive given the condition of the room. Would we stay here again? No. Would we recommend it to others? Definitely not.
USUSThe location is great. It is central to everything: walking distance to Sundance Square and easy drive to everything else. The host was spectacular. There communication was very responsive! Any questions I had were answered right away. The property has a gate and that is an sense of security bonus.
We had an issue with bugs. On the good side, it was not the fault of the host - the host was more than helpful. It was most likely an issue with the apartment property management and their pest control contract. We put out about 15+ roach traps and then a few days later the pest control company came and put out some more posion. By the end of the month stay we went from a dozen roaches a day to one or two (one or two can be expected in any large city apartment complex!). Again, the host was great, accommodating, and wonderful to work with on this. I think the apartment complex with their new pest control company will help.
