It was unique and everything we needed was there.

Pillows were not fluffy enough. Plenty of them but needed better quality.

Well kept lodge with a lovely view

Not really something we didn't like but when going out for the evening someone always had to drive so we couldn't share a drink

Very cute lodges in a lovely peaceful country setting. Well equipped for self catering and an ideal location as a base for touring the island. Short drive to the Neolithic sites.

There were a lot of rules and tight timings on check in and out. I understand that may be because some guests take advantage.

Beautiful location, very compact and practical lodge.

Please be aware that, after payment, you will receive an impressive list of requirements with possible fines. It would have been friendlier to post them on the booking site. It make us feel very uncomfortable in the lodge.

The view and privacy was amazing, we loved the cosy wooden lodge style and the inside and warmth and we loved the shower 🚿 also we loved outside decking area outside. It was in a really convenient location to travel all around Orkney with just a short drive to the main town centre, but the views of the country side and the sea were priceless. 🐬

A lock on the toilet door 🚪😶‍🌫️ 😉would be great and perhaps a gate across the decking so it adds extra security for when my special needs daughter was outside. But it was easily blocked with the decking chairs 😇
