Private Townhouse (Serenia Homestay)

Perfect for a family and group of friends to stay over night.

No wifi and the electricity ran out at midnight for hours. We came to relax but we ended up not being able to sleep. The staff are nice tho.

Property is hard to find. No TV. Blankets were thin and small. Bedroom setup was weird. Bathrooms and toilets were too small.

Definitely not like the picture. The bathroom in one of upstairs bedroom appeared stained or dirty and shower door not working well. Floor of living room and kitchen appeared dirty (grout). Furniture worn out. Blanket worn out, too small and not enough. With number of check in requirements, expected more.

The townhouse was home for us for 3 nights and 4 days. We went there for family bonding. We rented the whole house. Our rooms were clean and comfy with aircon and each room had its own shower/cr. We have been provided with clean towels that smell good. And also shampoo and shower gel.

The only thing was that there was no aircon in the living room (they do have electric fans), which would have been great. And if you are planning to cook for a family (there were 8 of us) there is only one induction stove.

I like that the property is very close to the beach- about 2 mins walk. Rooms were spacious. Airconditioning was functional and very cold. The blanket was thin to how cold the room was. They also booked massage services for us which is a plus, to help us relax after the long trip. Kitchen appliances and utensils were complete and functional. Owner was also very mindful to what we may need as their is a drying rack and shower area when you came from the beach. No issues getting to the place as the owner provided clear instructions. And very accommodating us well with queries. Hope to go back to the property again.

Minor thing like the smell of the house/ rooms can be improved given that most likely it is closed most of the time. 2nd item which is not really an issue is that they dont have any television in the house, which i think is good in a way since you will really bond with one another when you are there.

The house is located near the beach, offered the accommodation we required and we enjoyed our stay

It was a little expensive but booked late over a holiday weekend.
