Rovers' Retreat Whitby George Street

The house was beautiful with a lovely communal kitchen.The location was first class with easy access to the town, harbour, bus, and train station.

Proximity to town and great facilities

As it’s on several floors we found we didn’t use the lounge much.

Huge property, plenty of space, really modern and clean and well maintained

Location was at the top of a hill, but to be expected in Whitby

The property was in an ideal location for exploring Whitby and surrounding area. The house was very clean, with a lovely, recently refurbished kitchen and dining area, which was very well equipped. Parking was on-street, but had no problems finding spaces.

Please be aware that this is a four storey property, with kitchen in cellar, so probably not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Location was great for centre of town. Plenty of space for 6 of us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the weather was lovely and sunny. Beds comfy and clean. Well appointed with kitchen facilities, dishes cutlery towels . Host was lovely and kept us up to date with everything. Nothing was a bother.

Loved it!! Beautiful house, spacious, clean comfortable with all the facilities any family could need would definitely recommend and go back in the future

The hill to get from it from town, however this would definitely not stop me from staying there again and if you stay just about anywhere in Whitby you have to expect steep hills.

Central location with nearby car parking in adjacent streets. Highly recommended.
